A few words about MJSpix

Malcolm Smith is the primary photographer at MJSpix, being self-taught through a long time passion of photography. Digital cameras changed photography, this really sprked Malcolm’s interest, investing in a Canon Powershot G6 back in 2005, 7.1mp was pretty good!

Malcolm will often be found in remote places at strange times of the day, chasing the light and weather!

Locations and Photoshoots

Having Scotland as your ‘playground’ really does give a photographer endless possibilities!
With our glorious ‘4 seasons in one day’ weather you can get some really unexpected photoshoots and shots!

There are amazing shots to be had in the urban towns and cities if you want to photograph life and architecture, saying that you do not have to venture very far to start taking landscape photography with some amazing little gems to be found all around the urban-scape.

Wilderness! In my honest opinion this is where Scotland becomes unique without doubt, the landscape is awesome without doubt. Take Glencoe for example, for the many times I have visited, it has never felt the same twice.
With amazing wide open spaces, moody skies and the historical atmosphere which has a magical bind to the landscape.

Ordering & The Web Store

For just now there is no eStore, just direct contact with customers, it is a better experience for us and to deliver your chosen product, after having a chat on the phone/online.
Maybe I am just old fashioned, but as you will have seen from my photos, I enjoy visiting small towns and using local businesses.
My aim is to bring this experience virtually to you.

The MJSpix photography collection is available to order as a print for framing, standard or waterproof poster and custom canvas with framing options on sizes ranging from 8x6” all the way up to 60x40” (depending on print type).

Photography and artwork is printed to order, usually the same or next business day unless I am out on a photo shoot, however you will be notified of order processing time, once agreed I will send an invoice via PayPal (it works well for orders from all over the globe).

Postage and Delivery

UK Standard delivery is 3-4 working days depending on the print ordered

International delivery ranges from 7-10 working days and price will be confirmed based on your order contents.
The postal services all charge based on dimensions/weight of the parcel.

I firmly believe in recycling packaging and if packaging I receive is in great condition I will reuse this for your order at no extra cost.
If brand new packaging is required (eg for a gift) there will be a small additional fee to cover these costs.

We process images up to A3 in house, for larger prints we use an external printer due to the equipment required.
These options take an extra three working days to complete and be checked before either framing or posting your order.
